Notice
to exhibitors:
1. Entries on official ASCA entry forms only. Copies may be made if signed
statement is on the back. No other forms accepted. All entries must be
signed on the back. Entry forms can be down loaded at: http://www.asca.org/Forms/index.htm
2. No entry fees will be refunded. Make checks payable to HOTASC (Heart
of Texas Australian Shepherd Club). Returned checks do not constitute
a valid entry. There is a $25 service charge for returned checks.
3. All dogs' ages will be calculated as of March 17, 2012. Be prepared
to present papers on all dogs 6 months of age or older.
4. Grooming in designated areas only. No excessive grooming or bathing
of dogs at hotels. PLEASE CLEAN UP AFTER YOUR DOGS.
5. Exhibitors, through submission of entry, acknowledge that they are
knowledgeable of ASCA rules and regulations. No entry shall be accepted
which specifies any conditions as to its acceptance.
6. Aussies must have proof of ASCA registration.
7. The state of Texas requires a yearly rabies vaccination. All dogs over
12 weeks of age must have current rabies certificate. A tag does not show
proof of vaccination. Thank you for your cooperation.
8. Dog sales are not permitted on the show grounds. No puppies fewer than
8 weeks of age allowed at the show site.
9. Any handler, owner, or spectator using excessive abuse towards a dog
or exhibiting poor sportsmanship will be asked to leave the show site
for the duration of the show weekend.
10. HOTASC, its Board of Directors, ASCA, its Board of Directors, and
the property owner assume NO RESPONSIBILITY for any loss, damage, or
injury sustained by exhibitors, handlers, or to any of their dogs, personal
property, and/or children.
11. ASCA has the right to reprimand or suspend any person or persons
from any or all privileges of ASCA for conduct prejudicial to the best
interests of the Australian Shepherd, ASCA events or ASCA. Exhibitors
are to maintain the highest level of sportsmanship and are to conduct
themselves accordingly. Foul or abusive language, yelling at exhibitors
or judges, disorderly conduct, and/or poor sportsmanship will not be
allowed and shall be disciplined in accordance with Chapter 11 and the
ASCA Dispute Rules and ASCA Discipline Guidelines.

Directions:
The town of McKinney is about 33 miles northeast
of downtown Dallas on U.S. 75/North Central Expressway. From the north
or south: On U.S. 75, take the U.S. 380 exit and go west about 2.5 miles
to FM 1461. Turn right (north) on FM 1461 and travel approximately 3.8
miles to County Road 166. Turn right (north) on County Road 166 and go
about 0.8 miles to the site which is on the left. The county has posted
directional signs to the Event Center.
