Altered Regular: 6-9 month, 9-12 month, 12-18 month, Novice, American Bred, Bred by Exhibitor, Open Blue Merle, Open Red Merle, Open Black, Open Red, and Best of Breed

Puppy Sweepstakes: Young Puppy Sweeps: 2-4, 4-6, 6-9, 9-12 Older Puppy Sweeps, 12-15, 15-18, 18-20, 20-24. The classes will be divided by sex. Then the winners for the young sweeps will go back in to get best young puppy in sweeps, then the same with the older puppies for best older puppy in sweeps. At the end the young and older puppy will go in for best puppy in sweepstakes. 50% of entries will go back to the winners. Please use official ASCA entry forms. Entry will be open to All Breed puppies no older than 24 months old. Entries will be accepted for altered and non-altered dogs.

NOTE TO OBEDIENCE COMPETITORS: THIS IS NOT A
MATCH. All dogs will be competing for obedience titles through
ASCA®. Each entry form must have a current registration number
(ASCA® or recognized registry) and be completely filled out, no
exceptions. If your dog has earned a title through any other
registry,but not ASCA®, your dog will be required to begin in Novice.
Tracking Fee for Non-ASCA® Dogs: All non-ASCA® registered
dogs will be required to have an ASCA® Tracking Number. This is a
one-time fee of $10.00 per dog. At the time of applying for the
tracking number, the individual owner must also be an ASCA®
member (Service Member-$10.00). ASCA® membership does not
need to be maintained in subsequent years. You will be able to apply
for a tracking number day of show, if your dog does not have one.

Rules for Ring Rental:
o Ring rental at $1/minute for each participant’s first run will be by the
minute, with a 10 minute minimum and 15 minute maximum.
o Second and subsequent runs will be allowed after each person has had one run.
o If there is no one waiting for a ring and you would like extra ring time, you
may exceed the 15 minute limit.

Notice to exhibitors:
1. Entries on official ASCA entry forms only. Copies may be made if signed statement is on the back. No other forms accepted. All entries must be signed on the back. Entry forms can be down loaded at: http://www.asca.org/Forms/index.htm
2. No entry fees will be refunded. Make checks payable to HOTASC (Heart of Texas Australian Shepherd Club). Returned checks do not constitute a valid entry. There is a $25 service charge for returned checks.
3. All dogs' ages will be calculated as of Aug 2, 2008. Be prepared to present papers on all dogs 6 months of age or older.
4. Grooming in designated areas only. No excessive grooming or bathing of dogs at hotels. PLEASE CLEAN UP AFTER YOUR DOGS.
5. Exhibitors, through submission of entry, acknowledge that they are knowledgeable of ASCA rules and regulations. No entry shall be accepted which specifies any conditions as to its acceptance.
6. Aussies must have proof of ASCA registration.
7. The state of Texas requires a yearly rabies vaccination. All dogs over 12 weeks of age must have current rabies certificate. A tag does not show proof of vaccination. Thank you for your cooperation.
8. Dog sales are not permitted on the show grounds. No puppies fewer than 8 weeks of age allowed at the show site.
9. Any handler, owner, or spectator using excessive abuse towards a dog or exhibiting poor sportsmanship will be asked to leave the show site for the duration of the show weekend.
10. HOTASC, its Board of Directors, ASCA, its Board of Directors, and the property owner assume NO RESPONSIBILITY for any loss, damage, or injury sustained by exhibitors, handlers, or to any of their dogs, personal property, and/or children.

Directions:
HOUN’HOUSE is a first class, climate controlled facility located a little west of the North Dallas Tollway in Carrollton, Texas.
From Dallas North Tollway exit Parker Road, proceed west on Parker approximately two miles. As soon as you cross the railroad tracks, turn right at first street (Dozier Road). Proceed one half block and you are there. As soon as you cross the RR, look for a sign on the right that will say “HOUNHOUSE NEXT RIGHT”.
From I-35E take 121 Business to FM 544, turn right, cross Josey, cross Plano Parkway (blinking red light), take left at HOUN’HOUSE sign (where road curves to the right).
